What EJR Markets is
EJR Markets is an independent site written and built by Ewen Robertson, a finance student at Emory's Goizueta Business School. It does three things:
- Markets. Where U.S. stocks, Treasury yields and the federal funds rate stand.
- News and analysis. One deal or market event at a time, with the finance behind it. Stories go out when there is something worth writing about, not on a fixed schedule.
- Learn. Technical and behavioral interview prep, a mock interview, an LBO guide and a few finance games.
Nothing on this site is investment advice. It is for learning only.
Privacy
- No accounts and no ads. The site does not ask you to sign in and does not run advertising or ad trackers.
- Your practice data stays on your device. Quiz scores, saved answers, your story bank and game stats are stored in your browser's local storage. They are not sent to any server. Clearing your browser data removes them.
- Voice answers. The microphone button uses your browser's built-in speech recognition. Depending on your browser, that audio may be processed by the browser maker (for example Google in Chrome or Apple in Safari). The site does not record or store audio.
- Email. Subscriptions are handled by beehiiv. If you subscribe, beehiiv stores your email address under its privacy policy, and you can unsubscribe from any email.
- Market data. The markets page shows public index levels, Treasury yields and the federal funds rate. Loading it sends no personal data.
- Fonts. Text fonts load from Google Fonts.
